Greg Effertz, with more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership positions with an extensive background in technology and retail, including over 15 years in various senior roles at public companies, joined Verisae in 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Verisae, Greg served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Retek Inc., a developer of innovative software solutions and services for the retail industry. During his tenure with Retek, Effertz helped lead the transition of the company from a 20 employee organization with annual sales of less than $10 million to a global enterprise with annual revenues approaching $200 million and the eventual sale of Retek to Oracle Corporation. More recently, Greg held the Chief Financial Officer position with Valtira, LLC, a privately held company that is a leading provider of on-demand integrated marketing tools as a service over the Internet.

Greg has twice led a company through a successful IPO process.

Effertz is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, with majors in accounting and management information systems.
