Andrew Schafer

Andrew Schafer joined Verisae at the end of 2009 as Director of Strategy for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Andrew is a sustainability expert with over 10 years experience in business strategy and carbon management consulting.
Prior to joining Verisae, Andrew was a Senior Managing Consultant in IBM’s Energy and Environment group. As part of IBM’s Global Business Services division Andrew provided business strategy consulting to a range of clients, was IBM’s global lead on emissions foot printing and carbon business cases, and led IBM’s Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) practice.
Andrew is a qualified chartered accountant and prior to joining IBM worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in a range of management roles spanning consulting, outsourcing, audit and business advisory services.
