SPA School Selects Sustainability Platform
St. Paul Academy Selects Verisae’s Sustainability Resource Planning (“SRP”) Platform
School campus aims to implement a web-based solution to measure, monitor, and manage their energy & facility maintenance programs
Minneapolis, June 10, 2010 -- Verisae, a premier clean technology company, today announced St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) will deploy the SRP platform to manage efficiency initiatives. The sustainability solutions will support the reduction of energy and waste while lowering facility maintenance costs throughout the school’s two campuses in St. Paul.
Scott Selden, director of operations for SPA, said the school maintained an automation system that managed energy initiatives for many years. It was time to upgrade to a web-based system. In purchasing the entire suite of environmental, energy, and asset management solutions, SPA will achieve a broad range of operational improvements. “We look forward to working with the Verisae team during implementation and into the future as we fine tune our operations,” said Selden. “The SRP platform will help us achieve a number of objectives.”
Verisae’s web applications provide a single database to manage energy, track greenhouse gas emissions and waste streams as well as to automate maintenance activities. These integrated solutions enable organizations like SPA to actively manage and reduce costs related to facilities, the equipment operating within them, and the energy they consume.
“We are excited to work with a leading educational institution such as SPA. We are confident that our platform will help meet their goals while reducing operating expenses,” said Abtar Singh, vice president of business development. “Our platform enables visibility and control across an organization while providing clear financial, operational efficiency, and environmental benefits.”
The SRP platform will support efficiency projects in two separate campuses that include an ice arena. St. Paul Academy and Summit School is an independent college preparatory school enrolling nearly 900 students in grades kindergarten through 12.
