Energy Management Solution Recognized for Ease of Use, Adaptability, and Immediate Results
Minneapolis, MN, March 27, 2014 – Verisae, the leading global provider in enterprise energy, maintenance, and sustainability Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, today announced that their Energy Management product offering (vx Conserve) won a 2014 Environmental Leader Product & Project Award.
The annual Environmental Leader Product & Project Award program recognizes and honors companies making the biggest difference in the field of energy, environmental, and sustainability management. The program showcases these companies to help other organizations make informed decisions about what products to purchase or what initiatives to implement.
Top Product/Project of the Year status is given to those that receive a high score from a panel of distinguished judges, including experts from companies such as LNS Research, Citigroup, Exponent, GlaxoSmithKline, Honeywell Aerospace, ISS Facility Services, Microsoft, Power Advocate, Puma, Sustainability Guild International, and Trupoint Advisors, among others.
Judges looked for products or projects that provide clear, substantial benefits and that have viable attributes that set them apart from others.
One judge said of Verisae’s vx Conserve product, “Good analytics, and phased approach gives needed process support to companies. It provides an integrated maintenance, energy, and sustainability management platform.”
Another judge said, “The product scores on ease of use, adaptability (customizable), and the immediate results that it can deliver.”
The platform acts as a data warehouse, correlating real-time energy data (from EMS, meters, and sub-meters) with utility bill data and site data as well as equipment maintenance events and energy anomalies. Verisae integrates this data with its workflow engine to help retailers move from cost containment to cost reduction, allowing them to use less energy every day and save millions.
“Often because of the magnitude of data, limited resources, or the need for complex correlation, large and protracted energy saving opportunities are missed,” says Rob McConnell, SVP Product Design & Architecture. “Simply having visibility, finding unrealized cost savings, and the ability to report effectively to Energy Star has been a major win for our customers.”
The growing Verisae system creates one of the largest global networks of its kind. Unlike many other service providers and manufacturers that provide narrowly focused applications, only Verisae allows for a completely integrated maintenance, energy, and sustainability management platform.
